ROOTS KANELA

A revived 15th century “tentura" recipe, from the Ionian Islands in Greece, with true cinnamon and clove buds. ROOTS KANELA has its roots in the homemade tinctures (extracts, which got named "tentura"), made with spices arriving at the ports of the Ionian Sea.

Very rich and lush cinnamon taste with a sweet peppermint and french vanilla feel; a sense of a sweet cigar box cedary aftertaste.

ROOTS KANELA is perfect after sushi, Asian or “umami” flavoured meal.

ROOTS MASTIC An aromatic voyage to the Greek island of Chios, the only place the fabled mastic resin tree grows, distilled to enticing perfection. Elegant and clean scent shaping an overall softening and refreshing smell; subtle lavender and coconut mouthfeel, with the unique Mastic smell being prevalent. It is very fresh & digestive. You can enjoy a cold shot of ROOTS MASTIC from the fridge after a meal & share with friends.	ROOTS RAKOMELO A centuries old recipe of a soothing raki brew with mountain honey and spices from the Aegean Islands in Greece. Natural honey taste with a subtle presence of spices and a very rich and delicate mouthfeel. In the summer ROOTS RAKOMELO is consumed cold from the fridge or on the rocks.	ROOTS DIKTAMO Liquorice and orris fold into the herbal wilderness of diktamo, a rare plant from the mountains of the Greek island of Crete, for the first Greek amaro. A layered taste combining harmonically herbal profusion with fruity subtleness. It gives a firm and gently bitter mouthfeel, mimicking the sense of a sweet velvet texture. You can enjoy ROOTS DIKTAMO in a shot after a meal or with a little bit of tonic and a cucumber slice

GREEK SPRITZ Fill a wine glass with ice and add 60ml ROOTS MASTIC 30ml Aperol or rose wine top up with tonic Garnish with an orange zest and / or basil and serve	CINNAMON MULE Try a "dark and stormy" cinnamon mule. Fill a long drink glass with ice and add 60ml ROOTS KANELA 20ml lime juice top up with ginger beer	HONEY SHOT Put ROOTS RAKOMELO in a small pot or a kettle and gently warm it up until it steams a bit (no boil, around 50C / 122F). Enjoy it hot in a small shot glass.	DIKTAMO NEGRONI In an old fashioned glass filled with ice stir gently 30ml ROOTS DIKTAMO 30ml bitter (Campari) 30ml gin (a nice floral one) Add some more ice cubes and an orange zest and serve
