A well presented johnnie walker cocktail gift set,
Jonnie walker drinking glass which is solid and good weight to it, you get 35cl whisky bottle, 5cl pure sugar cane, 3.7ml angostura bitters, i know you only use couple dashes of that but bottle is absolutely tiny(see picture next to finger????), 4 dehydrated slices of lemon, 50ml and 25ml measuring cup and a card giving clear instructions how to make your not so old fashioned cocktail, overall this would make an excellent Christmas gift set.

Excellent to give as a gift as it makes it abit more exciting then just buying him the drink on its own.
You get the bottle of black label, pure cane sugar,orange slices.

A tasty whisky smooth with a warm taste to it, goes down very nicely but what sets this one apart is the addition of the cocktail making accompaniments as well as the recipes to inspire you.
Makes wonderful cocktails that without the directions or necessary ingredients that this provides most of us would be unlikely to try as to for a more basic mixer combo.

Johhny Walker Whisky needs no introduction, it has been a very popular whisky for years. This set comes with the black label variety 350ML or 35CL along with sours mix and a syrup to make a cocktail. I liked that there were some dried orange slices included, this made creating my drink quick and easy. The included glass looks good and has a certain heft to it. I really liked the presentation box it came with and feel it would make an excellent gift choice for Christmas.

First time trying this cocktail and created it using purely the kit. It made a really tasty, full & professional feeling cocktail. This kit includes a glass so there’s no excuse to not make one straight away!
The whiskey, Johnnie water black label, has been proven to be a hit alone & might find yourself having to buy more to finish the cocktail kit off! It’s excellent on the rocks or as part of the prementioned cocktail.
Overall, the kit would spice up your home bar but would make a truly epic gift for a whiskey/cocktail lover!

This makes an excellent gift for someone special, or even for a well deserving school teacher that has gone the extra mile.
It's well packed, everything is included, it arrives in excellent condition thanks to the double packaged carton which keeps everything intact. The presentation is superb, it looks pricey and well thought out and beats the usual box of chocolates, bottle of wine/whiskey.
Its a complete set to prepare your own cocktail. Granted there's not that much actual liquor included in the set, but the sheer variety of ingredients makes up for the single serve - or two of whiskey. Plus the recipient is left with a little memorabilia by way of the heavy set whiskey glass which is dishwasher safe.

This is an excellent gift set. It really looks the part and would put a smile on any whisky drinker.
I'd be very happy to receive the gift set from others but I gifted this to myself to try over Christmas. I enjoy a whisky on occasions and like to mix it up a bit so the opportunity to try something new was nice. Although I enjoyed something different, I can't say I'll be rushing to make the cocktail again (I prefer others) but it would still be a worthwhile gift and something different for any whisky drinker.

I enjoy Johnnie Walker Black Label, its a good blend to keep in the drinks cabinet.
I'd never tried an old fashioned or as described in this box set a "not so old fashioned".
The box is very smart and protects the contents very well.
The glass is a nice heavy tumbler, the measure also feels of a good quality.
You also get a small bottle of angostura bitters, sugar syrup and dried orange slices for garnish.
The recipe for the cocktail is on a postcard inside.
I found the cocktail very enjoyable, if not particularly moreish. I usually drink my scotch neat.

Can you go wrong with Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky? I doubt it. Even less so - if that's possible - with a gift set that includes said bottle, a nice glass, a measurer (called a jigger), orange slices, something called angostura bitters, and a small bottle of sugar syrup.
Whether the recipient will bother with the additions in this box is a moot point, but he, or she, will appreciate it all the same. Other than the price, which seems a bit expensive, but then all gift sets add up to more than the sum of its parts, there isn't really much to say about this.

This is a great little gift set for someone that likes whiskey. It comes with all you need to make yourself a nice cocktail. I like how it comes well packaged and really does look great as a set. It’s perfect to have around for parties etc air even for yourself. The whiskey is nice and smooth and works well on its own or as a mixer.
Overall if you are after a gift for someone I can recommend this, although if they already have most of the bits in this set just get them a full bottle of whiskey.

It’s a good drinks set for a drinker of whiskey based drinks. It’s all very good quality stuff, the glass in particular is heavy based and tapers out at the top which are my favourite style of glasses, we use it all the time now and my wife likes to use it for rum and cokes as well so must be nice.
It’s a small bottle of Johnnie walker but it’s good quality stuff, you get a small amount of mixers to go with it, never made a Long Island I’ve tea before but it tasted pretty much like the ones I’ve had out but this was a bit stronger after my adhoc measures.
The only disappointing thing was the inside of the box was damaged, the cardboard was ripped around the small flavourings bottle and the shot glass. The outer box was fine so must have been a heavy handed production line worker doing that, Shame for such a nice set.
The glass and measure are lasered with the name on and the measure is basic in design with the double ended single and double.
You don’t get much to mix with, especially if you’re heavy handed with the measuring but it was good for a couple of drinks.

This is a brilliant gift set for any whiskey/old fashioned enjoyer. It was received well by my partner. The glass and jigger are both engraved with Johnnie Walker, and the glass also says "our blend cannot be beat". Just make sure to clean both as they were quite dirty when I got them out.
Following the instructions, an old fashioned cocktail requires: 50ml of Johnnie Walker Black Label whiskey, 2 dashes of aromatic bitters, 2 teaspoons of sugar syrup, orange garnish and lots of ice. This should give you 7 drinks in total with the 350ml bottle of whiskey.
I've never had nor made an old fashioned before, so I thought the amount was lacklustre (even though whiskey is enjoyed neat on the rocks, I'd expect a cocktail to be a full glass drink) and that it should be topped up with a mixer, but there's no mention of it? My partner agreed so I ended up adding lemonade. I took a sip and it's definitely not my kind of drink, but he loved it. It's very easy to make and the orange slices are a nice touch.

It definitely makes a nice gift however 2 minor points that bugged me a little.
I feel it should come with a mixing spoon. They’re kind of essential to mixing cocktails so seems like a strange omission to the set.
The AR experience is a great idea and seems to work well. However when you get onto the website the glaring problem is it doesn’t include the recipe for the Old Fashioned, making the whole thing pointless.
Not a deal breaker but just another minor thing that stops from being as good as it could have been
