Hendrick’s Gin’s unique (and dare we say unusually alluring) flavour comes from roses and cucumbers combined with a divine blend of eleven other botanicals, and the use of two distinctly different stills.

The curious, yet marvellous, infusions of rose & cucumber imbue our spirit with its uniquely balanced flavour resulting in an unimpeachably smooth and distinct gin.

The harmonious combination of the Bennett and Carter-Head stills create an unusually smooth gin like no other, that has the required character and balance of subtle flavours.

Based at our Gin Palace in Girvan, Ms Lesley Gracie is our Master Distiller and the inventor of Hendrick’s Gin. Part alchemical genius, part liquid poet and part scientist — Ms Gracie is one of the world’s greatest gin innovators.

There are now 10 hands toiling together in the gin palace under the direct supervision of our Master Distiller Lesley Gracie.

Each batch of Hendrick’s Gin is crafted just 500 lovely litres at a time. It is how Hendrick’s Gin started in 1999 and how it will remain. It also allows Lesley, greater control of her careful artistry.

Nose: Hendrick’s, like an anteater or elephant, has a huge intense nose. A nose that makes a dramatic entrance, with a burst of crisp zesty botanicals spearheaded by the harmonious duo of juniper and coriander. The aroma accompanying this heady introduction is the deep floral tones of rose and violet.

Taste: Smooth and exquisitely balanced botanicals. Clean and dry without being in any way astringent. The complexity of the nose comes through in the taste; citrus and juniper with a subtle lingering finish of cool refreshing cucumber and rose.
